Most crinoids don’t move much. If you weren’t paying attention in bio, you would probably mistake one for some sort of plant. This crinoid, however, crawls across the ocean floor at quite a rapid pace. It’s very strange – kind of like seeing a tree crossing the street. Via Pharyngula.
